Help us send Alice Bliss all around the world!

Book bloggers from across the United States and the globe have the unique opportunity to participate in an exciting, new international adventure. Laura Harrington, author of the novel Alice Bliss, is pleased to invite you, a book lover and blogger, to be a part of Where’s Alice Bliss?

What Is Where’s Alice Bliss?

Where’s Alice Bliss? is a campaign to send copies of the novel Alice Bliss to as many countries and U.S. states as possible. Through www.bookcrossing.com, copies of Alice Bliss will be registered and tracked as they travel around the world, passing from one reader to the next. Your bookcrossing ID (BCID) allows you to follow your book wherever it goes.  It’s like a passport enabling your book to travel the world without getting lost.  Once your book is registered, you will leave it in a public place with a note inside for someone else to find, read, and pass on, like a modern-day message in a bottle. You will be part of an international movement encouraging readers to read, register, and release books for others to enjoy!

How Do I Join?

We have given out our 100 books but would still love for you to participate by purchasing your own copy! Consider Amazon’s great deal! You can even purchase it for your Kindle! Once you have a copy, register the book at www.bookcrossing.com by putting the unique bookcrossing ID (BCID) in the front with either a written note such as:

“Help us send Alice Bliss around the world. I’ve registered this book at BookCrossing.com so I can track its journey through the world. Please go to http://www.BookCrossing.com and enter this BCID: 123-456789 to let me know you found it. Then read it and/or pass it on for someone else to enjoy. Thank you!”

OR! Simply click this picture, print it out, fill out the information, and tape it on to the book!

For step-by-step instructions, simply click here!

What Do I Do When I Get My Copy?

Read! Read! Read! Once you have read the book visit the Get Involved! tab to submit your opinions and reviews! You can also send in pictures, fan art, or anything at all that regenerates your reading experience with Alice Bliss! If you have your own blog or Tumblr, write your review there and send us the link! Book Crossing will also allow you to write a review and post pictures! If you decide to do this – send us your Book Crossing username!

What About When I’m Done Reading?

Here comes the really fun part! When you have finished Alice Bliss and have sent in your review or picture, you must release it! Click here for easy instructions! Please photograph or film your “release” and submit them here! Give us a story of how your release went! Did you give it to a friend or leave it in the mist of a busy crowd? Where were you? Let us know! Your BCID number will allow you to track your book’s journey!
